Making Manufacturing Careers Accessible with The Manufacturers’ Association!

You would be hard-pressed to find more passion for careers in the manufacturing sector than from Miranda and Crystal of the Manufacturer’s Association. https://mascpa.org/ Todd and Dan learned so much about the why behind their passion for manufacturing. Miranda always loved creating and working with her hands since childhood but she was shuttled to home ec in high school and tried the traditional college path until she found her ultimate home. Crystal was in the corporate world and while she enjoyed her job it didn’t fill her with the passion this career path has. The Lancaster/York region is heavily influenced by manufacturing. We have a huge base of health care, food, and beverage manufacturing along with the fabricators, welders, rigging, robotics, machining, and foundries that make the machinery that runs this industry. The Manufacturers’ Association supports the industry with Apprentice Training that Miranda teaches in and they are looking to inspire youth to target these careers. As we embark on 2023 National Manufacturing Week we hope this Dumpster Talk inspires you to follow your passion and the passions of those around you and encourage them to push through and achieve those dreams.
