Yes, we offer customers the ability to come to our yard and buy surplus scrap aluminum, stainless steel and steel.
When you come into the office and read and sign off on our visitor safety policy you will see that we only sell material from the area of the yard that is marked with either a white line or blue line in the road for our structural steel. The aluminum and stainless racks are located on the west side of our facility with racks for each on either side of the road below our warehouse.
Only Sahd Metal Recycling personnel can cut the material that we are able to cut for purchase. Most material is sold “as is”. If your vehicle or trailer are not long enough we will cut certain types of steel material for a $35 cutting fee (as long as under 1 hour).
Well, we often say you won’t find it cheaper anywhere else! Our steel pricing ranges from $.45-$1.00 per pound and our aluminum and stainless are $2 per pound. For customers looking for specific pricing for material simply google a weight per foot for the dimensions of metal you are looking to buy and you can get very close.
