Copper is critical to our electrified and sustainable future. Here are some of the ways it’s going to be even more important:
Electric Vehicles: As we switch to electric cars, we’re going to need WAY more copper because of their electrical systems and batteries.
Renewable Energy: Wind and solar power require a ton of copper. It’s used in solar panels, Wind turbines, and other renewable energy tech.
Urbanization: As the world gets more urbanized, we need more copper in construction. It’s used in plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as in electrical wiring
Recycling: We’re becoming more aware of the importance of sustainability and recycling copper can save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
But here’s the catch, we need to do all of this while minimizing the environmental impact of copper mining and production. Are you up for the challenge?
