This hands on approach is similar to how the Sahd Metal Crew is learning and they discussed plenty of parallels on management challenges when young employees manage older employees when they have less experience. All of this operations experience helps Josh when trading metals because he has a great deal of experience in understanding the exact recovery of metals melted because he was part of that process. The trading side and his interest in all things economics fulfills his general interest in how economies run since his youth and that is what led him to his current position at Weiner Iron and Metal.
