Cash for Cans
It could not be easier to recycle aluminum cans in Lancaster County, PA than by making a visit to Sahd Metal Recycling in Columbia! Visit us between 8am-4pm Monday-Friday at 1045 Lancaster Avenue in Columbia with your cans handy! They can be whole or crushed and placed in bags or drums. It is best to dump small grocery bags into large garbage bags so the process is quicker in the yard!
Pull up to the office and Shelbie will direct you inside the gate and around to the back of the small metals scale. All bags and drums are dumped into our can hopper and the steel cans are separated from the aluminum and weighed into the completed hopper. If it’s your first visit we need your driver’s license to scan and give you a weight ticket. Proceed to the office and scan your ticket at our cash dispenser and collect your money!
