First Time at the Scrap Yard?

Pull up to the office and come in and ask Shelbie to direct you. If you have a large segregated load we will weigh your vehicle on the truck scale and direct you to Ed in the steel/lite iron area or Alex, Todd, Gil or Isaiah in the non-ferrous area to sort the load by metal type to give you as much cash for your scrap metal as possible! If you have a small amount, we may send you to our small scale area where we will help you sort and weigh each metal type.

Before You Visit

1.

Review our Scrap Specifications list of what we don’t buy or items that must meet special conditions.

2.

Review the yard layout.

3.

Separate as much as possible in your vehicle, and if you don’t know if it sticks to a magnet, keep it separate from what doesn’t.

When You Visit

1.

Drive onto our scale with your scrap and present a valid photo ID.

2.

Our receptionist will greet you and direct you to your unloading spot.

3.

If given a ticket at your unloading spot, come to the office to cash out at our ATM! If you don’t get a ticket, pull back on the scale and then park and come into the office to cash out!

We value our customers greatly and are dedicated to giving you the best price possible for your metal. To do this, we frequently update our current scrap metal prices online so you know ahead of time what we will pay. The scrap metal yard is the site we process and clean metals so they can be recycled and made into new products.  We use a variety of techniques at our metal recycling center including, torching, shearing, baling, and hand sorting metal to put it together in truckload lots to resell to mills and foundries.

When you arrive pull into the parking lot and register if you are looking to purchase metal.  If you are looking to sell metal you can pull right onto the scale on the side of our building to be directed to either the small scale for car loads of metal or back in the yard for truck and trailer loads of metals.

Sahd Metal Recycling is open for buying and selling Monday-Friday 8am-4pm and 24 hours at recycleyourmetal.com and on Facebook Marketplace.

Our scrap metal yard will accept any metal except vehicles and freon bearing appliances, but the best things to scrap for money are copper, aluminum, brass and stainless steel in addition to steel of all grades.

Ferrous scrap metal formulas are based on the American Metal Market monthly report and nonferrous formulas based on day of pickup pricing at kitcometals.com.
