We have been recycling metal for more than 70 years, but for the past 19 years we have teamed up with our industrial customers, conservation and environmental organizations, and community leaders to promote Earth Day. Earth Day 2024 will continue the mission of educating our community in sustainability onsite and online!

Bring in Aluminum Cans from April 15-19 for a 10 cent per pound BONUS!
Proceeds from aluminum cans go to Columbia Food Bank, Off the Streets Susquehanna, and Hands Across the Street
$100 prize for whoever brings in the most cans in the week!
Take the Earth Day Trivia Challenge, answering various questions on sustainability and the theme of reduce, reuse, recycle. The first 300 entrants earn a voucher for a Hinkles OR Coffee and Cream Earth Day Sundae and will be entered in a drawing for a YETI cooler!
ISRI, Jason, LCSWMA and other partners give educators the opportunity to design their own curriculum to celebrate Earth Day. Any teachers or organizations looking for additional resources are always encouraged to reach out to us–educating our youth is our mission!
